Announcing New Evaluation Services for Existing Systems and Analysis of Alternatives

hangar
  • Have you had local authorities tell you to replace your system or foams?
  • Are you looking at reduced insurance coverage or no coverage due to Per- and polyfluoroalksubstances (PFAS) in your fire suppression systems?
  • Are you facing expensive replacement decisions?

If so, ASK Distribution Consulting can offer your company a reputable engineering firm with deep expertise to:

  • Evaluate your systems and exposure,
  • Make recommendations (and/or defend your current system(s)), and
  • Offer new alternatives to address your needs.

In partnership with The Vertex Companies, LLC (VERTEX), ASK Distribution Consulting, LLC is here to guide you through the complexities of PFAS compliance in fire suppression systems. This new consulting service can help your company better understand the Federal, State, or Local requirements impacting your fire suppression system(s), especially where PFAS products are involved, evaluate your current suppressants against other options, examine insurance impacts, and gain recommendations to support your team’s assessment of replacement options, if appropriate.

Service Offerings
Non-compliance with Federal or State/Local regulations could lead to penalties or operational shutdowns. At times, your team’s assessment of the risk may differ from the local authorities in terms of what systems may need to be in place. Addressing these issues today, not only ensures compliance, but also helps mitigate long-term risks and costs. It may eliminate replacing your entire system too. Through our services with the Vertex Team, you will receive:

  • Initial site visit and assessment,
  • Review of all existing foam fire protection system documentation of your facility(ies),
  • Evaluation of applicable regulations and good practices for the facility with regard to foam fire suppression systems at each location,
  • Evaluation of the appropriateness of fire protection provided,
  • Gap analysis and development of a pragmatic plan to reduce PFAS risk (if applicable) and generally bring foam firefighting systems into compliance with code requirements and current good practices, and
  • Development of a report of findings and recommendations including +/- 30% budgetary estimates

Cost
For full evaluation services, the cost per facility is: $22,500 per site
Members/Affiliates of the Alliance for Chemical Distribution are eligible to receive a discounted rate for this service of $17,500 per site
