The OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) rule regulates emergency response to hazardous substances. If you’ve had your 40-or 24-hour training, this interactive training is a great way to meet your annual training requirement.

Training topics include:

Regulatory requirement update
Emergency planning, organization, and communication
Hazardous substance and radiological terms and behavior
Medical surveillance/safety and health program requirements
Hazard recognition and risk assessment
PPE selection and use
Review of safe work practices, container handling, and equipment use
Air and contaminant monitoring
Control, containment, and confinement techniques
Decontamination
Confined space entry update

All participants who attend and participate in both sessions of this training will receive a Certificate of Training.
